How Complaints are made

Any individual who wants to file a complaint may do so by visiting the Town of Combes Municipal Complex between 8am and 5pm, Monday through Friday.Municipal Complex location: 21626 Hand Road, Building A Combes, Texas 78535

Legal Information

According to Texas State Law (Government Code 614.022), all complaints against police officers must be in writing and signed by the person making the complaint. As is the case with citizens who must be notified of the charges against them when they are arrested, copies of the complaints will be given to the police officers against whom the complaint is filed. The complaint must be made by the individual who claims to be the aggrieved party, while other individuals involved may record their statements in the capacity of witnesses.

TRAFFIC TICKETS

In case of traffic tickets or any differences of opinion between citizens and police officers regarding the issuance of the tickets involving the question of guilt or innocence of the individual arrested, an investigation will only take place if there is a specific allegation of misconduct levied against an officer or employee of Combes P.D.
